died June 8, 2011, in Nashville, after a long illness. Born September 13, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in and around Nashville. He graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in 1947. In Milwaukee/Mequon he established Hosale Construction Company. He was recognized as a civic activist, old-world craftsman, avid sustainable gardener and award- winning breeder of beagles. He attended Neely's Bend Church of Christ. Preceded in death by father, Frank William Hosale; mother, Mary Peach Hosale Craighead Higgins; wife Norma Ann Hosale; brothers, J. B. Hosale and Richard "Buster" Craighead; aunt and uncle Nannie and Ivan Baker. Survived by wife, May Ruth Hale Perry Hosale; sons Michael (Cindy) and Kenneth (Jodi); grandsons Charles and Zachary; sisters Patsy Tayes, Emma Jean Harmon, Judy Stamphill and Nancy Mitchell; stepdaughters Joy Rhea, Karen Perry and Sandra Perry; step-granddaughter, Stephanie Scott; four step-great-grandchildren, all of Nashville. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Sunday, 2:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Norman Slate officiating. At the conclusion of the service Mr. Hosale will be forwarded to Schrameka Funeral Home, 423 No. Main St. Thiensville, WI 53092 for services and entombment.
