James William Lee

Lee, James W. – Age 90 of Old Hickory, TN. a native of Warren, Arkansas, Passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Sybil Burks Lee; daughters, Cheryl Fran (Bill) Pickerd, Carol Ann (Greg) Sanders; grandson, Joel (Hailey) Pickerd; granddaughters, Erica Pickerd (Jeff) Barlow, Leanna Sanders, Savannah Sanders; great-granddaughters; Gabrielle Barlow, Olivia Barlow; great-grandson, Blake Pickerd; sister, Merline Pinson.  James will be remembered as a devoted and loving provider and a friend to many. After his marriage to Sybil, August 30, 1947, he became a Journeyman sheet metal worker. As they followed his career, it led them to live in several states. He worked 37 ½ years at that trade before he retired from sheet metal local #177 Nashville, TN. Mr. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church, Old Hickory, TN., a member of Centre Star Masonic Lodge #409 F.&A.M. Visitation with the family will be May 6, 2019 from 12 – 2PM at Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd, Madison, TN 37115 with funeral service to follow. Interment, Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the charity of your choice.
