Jr. Steakley

STEAKLEY, Jr., Charles B., age 91, passed away December 5, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Lorene Steakley; parents, Charles and Edith Cotton Steakley; sister, Helen Churchill; brother, Elijah Steakley. Survived by brother, Albert "Gene" Steakley, daughter, Dawn (Jamie) Hoskins; grand children, Dalton and Mason; several nieces and nephews. He was a founding member of Matthew Memorial UMC, retired from DuPont with forty two years of service and a WWII veteran of the U. S. Airforce. Mr. Steakley was a loving husband of fifty nine years to his wife, Lorene, as well as a loving father and grandfather. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Sunday, 5-7 p.m. and Monday 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Eckman officiating.
