Opal Gibbs

Opal Imogene Gibbs of Madison, TN passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the age of 86. Mrs. Gibbs in preceded in death by her husband, Ester Gibbs and daughter, Joyce DeVogt. Survived by her daughters, Shirley "Shelly" (Joe) Sanders of Atlanta, GA, Patsy (Michael) Lutz and Barbara (Terry) Weatherly both of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Deborah Walters of Lebanon, TN; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Gibbs was an active member of Neely Bend Baptist Church for many years. Her since of humor and love for family and friends endeared her to all.
