Barbara Lee Johnson

Barbara Lee Johnson was born September 10, 1957, the daughter of the late Milburn Lee and Gladys Shoemake Johnson. She attended Amqui Elementary School, Neelys Bend Middle School and Madison High School. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Neil Johnson. She passed away October 27, 2015. She spent most all of her life in the Madison Community and at one time she attended the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for the Wise Coach Company for many years. She absolutely loved and adored her work and her co-workers at Wise Coach, especially Alan Wise. She was a great mom and simply did all she could for her family. She is survived by her son, John Robert "J.R." Johnson; his friend, April; April's children, Malachi and Donya, who Barbara adored; Barbara's other son, Jeremy Michael Johnson and his child, Jeremyla Johnson; also John and Jeremy's dad, John Brown, Sr.; sisters, Penny (Harold) Hentz, Stella Anderson; brother, Jamie (Darlene) Johnson; a host of nieces and nephews and other family members; good friend, Alan Wise. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5, 2015 5-7pm in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with a reception following at Amqui Station. Funeral Services will be Friday November 6, 2015 at 11am in the Tabernacle of Fatherland Baptist Church.
