BLANTON Dale

age 86, passed away December 25, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Bryan and Flossie Evanes Blanton; brothers, O. G., Acy, Johnnie, George, Glynn and Cleveland Blanton. Survived by wife, Sandra M. Blanton; daughters, Linda Karch Taylor, Dickson, TN., Sue Nowichi, Clarksville, TN.; brother, Kenneth Blanton, Springfield, TN.; six grandchildren,; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; eight nieces; and eleven nephews. He was a member of Madison Campus Seventh Day Adventist Church in Madison, owner and operator of Blanton Abrusive Tool Supply in Michigan for 45 years from which he retired in 1989. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in Germany. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 4 - 7 p. m. Memorial services Wednesday, January 4, 2012, 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with Pastor Mike McKenzie officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
