Carolyn June Anderson

Carolyn June Anderson (née Spurlock), aged 72, of Nashville, TN, was called to eternal rest on June 18, 2024. Born on June 16, 1952, in Springfield, TN, to the late Stella Mae Spurlock. Carolyn was a proud alumna of Hume-Fogg High School.

Preceding her in passing were her beloved mother, Stella Mae Dodson her father, Raymond Dodson, and her brothers, Larry and Ken Spurlock.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Hopkins; her brother, Charles Spurlock; her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Spurlock; and her niece, Jessica Piercey.

Carolyn held a special place in her heart for her treasured pets, Babygirl, Lucius, and Smokey, who brought immeasurable joy and companionship to her. Her presence will also be profoundly missed by her close-knit circle of friends, including Ms. Alice, Wanda Petus, Darlene Cunningham, along with many others.

A woman of strength and kindness, Carolyn will be lovingly remembered for her compassion, warmth, generosity, and humor she extended to all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of the many who love her.
