Richardson, Donald S. "Scotty," age 51, of Fairview, TN passed away suddenly September 4, 2013. Scotty grew up in Brentwood, attended Franklin High School and Belmont College. He was in the fluid power industry until he left to pursue his passion of cooking and baking by creating Purebread Baking Co.,using recipes and sourdough starter from his "Meemaw" and mother. Scotty had a tremendous love for Newfoundland dogs and grew to love cats when he married Peggy (she had a crush on him in college but not until 27 years later would they reconnect through Facebook). He was an avid camper, loved to fish, and was heavily involved as a member of the Friends of Edgar Evins State Park. Scotty never met a stranger and was always making people laugh and smile.
Scotty is survived by his wife, Peggy Marie Adams Richardson; Parents, James Donald and Patricia Rou Richardson of Kingston, TN; brother, Michael Richardson (Martha) of Prospect, KY; sisters, Laurie Richardson Tester (Duane) of Cary, NC, Donna Richardson Taylor (Joe) of Brentwood, TN, and Debbie Richardson Hofert (Dave) of Pittsboro, NC; and several nephews and nieces.
