Survived by daughter, Sandra Nevils; daughter-in-law, Wendy Hughes; sister-in-law, Lorene "Cindy" Carter; grandchildren, John Hughes, Jr., Joseph Hughes and Terri (Michael) Jaynes; great-grandchildren, Haley, Analese, Libby and Brady.
