Louis Edward Harp on Madison, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 70. Mr. Harp was a HVAC Tech. with the Metro Board of Education. He served his Country in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Madison First Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his father, James Louis Harp.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Linda Harp; sons, Donald (Mary) Harp of Cedar Hill, TN and Danny (Jennifer) Harp of Portland, TN; grandchildren, Douglas (Julie) Harp, Anna (David) Merritt, Danny Harp, Jr. and Donald Harp, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Melanie and Emma; mother, Velma A. Harp; brother, Jonathan (Misty) Harp; sisters, Brenda Evans, Donna (Wesley) Goad, Linda (Andy) Dillard and Hope Harp.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home from 2PM to 7pm and where funeral service will be conducted on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11am with Pastor Gary Rose officiating. Visitation on Friday from 9am until service time. Pallbearers: Douglas Harp, David Merritt, Danny Harp, Jr.,Donald Harp, Jr., Jimmy Baskin and Justin Baskin.
Interment will follow in Joelton Hills Memory Gardens at 2:30pm with Military Honors. madisonfuneralhome.net (615)868-9020.
