Margaret Marcia Arthur

Margaret Marcia (Marci) Arthur, born May 27, 1939, passed to her rest in Bowling Green Kentucky on April 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Arthur, mother Gwendolyn Brown Mishler, father Dorsey Mishler, and brother Duane Mishler. She is survived by her son Phil Arthur (Zonda) of Madison Tennessee, daughter Karen Arthur of Bowling Green Kentucky, Daughter Teri Arthur Quinn (Jerry) of Watertown Tennessee, and son Jeff Arthur (Lauri) of Bowling Green Kentucky. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Marcia Arthur, the faithful wife of one husband for fifty-three years, was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved family gatherings of all kinds. Marci worked for many years as an executive secretary at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles California, and at Madison Hospital in Madison Tennessee. She loved to play both the piano and the organ, providing wonderful worship music for several churches over the years. She also loved to sing, blessing many worshipers with her selections, both solo, and with groups. She also taught piano in her home for several years to help supplement the family income. In her last years she spoke often of the happy anticipation with which she looked forward to seeing her precious Jesus, and of being reunited with those she loved who had passed before her. She spoke with joy of the promised resurrection to come, when her Jesus will return to take His children home.

A memorial service for Mrs. Arthur will be held at the Bordeaux Seventh-day Adventist church at 1:45 pm on Sunday, May 7. The church is located at 5121 Buena Vista Pike, in Nashville Tennessee.
