Milton Lawrence Keith, 93, of Madison, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Milton was born on September 18th, 1930 in Portland, Tennessee. Milton's passion for aviation led him to honorably serve in the United States Air Force and work tirelessly for Avco for 36 years. He busied himself with projects around the house and neighborhood, selflessly helping friends and neighbors, no matter the job . Gardening was a true passion of his. Milton's green thumb tended to a variety of fruits and vegetables but the real magic happened with his delicious strawberries. He was a faithful member of his church, Madison Church of Christ and could be often found reading his beloved bible. We will all miss him for his wit and wisdom. He loved playing practical jokes on the ones he loved the most. A devoted family man, his love for his family knew no bounds. Milton was predeceased by his parents, Lovie and Conley Keith, his loving wife of 48 years Frances Keith, and siblings Jessie Hester, Mamie McGlothlin, Melvin Lee Keith, Nell Ruth Keith, Patty Sue Keith, and Carolyn Knall. Surviving are his loving daughter Sherry (Denny) Lind and son Ron (Mary) Keith; devoted grandsons Keith (Shannon) Bellar, Kory (Danielle) Bellar, Weston Keith; and five great-grandchildren Calista, Kensi, Keiran, Azleanna, and Georgia Bellar.
In honoring his memory, may we find solace in the sweetness of cherished moments, just as he enjoyed the simple pleasure of asking, "what's for dessert?"
