Stephen Morris

MORRIS, Steve L. "Coach", born October 28, 1941 in Nashville, TN., died peacefully on November 24, 2013 in Nashville. He is preceded in death by grandparents, William and Bertha Morris; parents, Luella and Theron Morris. Survived by his loving wife, Elaine Morris; daughter, Allison (David) Smith; son, Shea Morris; step-son, Jeffrey (Emily) Wenning; grandchildren, Brandon, Natasha, Gabe, Matthew, Mark, Eli, Sam; great grandchild, Rose; lifetime friends, Sloan Powell and Gene Dillard; and his precious furry baby girl—Lola. He graduated from Litton High School in 1959, where he played baseball and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. in 1964. He operated Morris Office Products in Nashville for thirty-plus years. He was a member of Joelton First Baptist Church. A celebration of Steve's life will be held on December 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Christmas4Kids; P.
