He is survived by his parents, Fidel Mungia and Leticia Gutierrez, wife, Christy Gutierrez, children Steven Jr., Nathan, and Alexia, Brothers Fidel Mungia Jr., Bobby Gutierrez (Stephanie), Ruben Gutierrez (Lucrecia), Ray Gutierrez, and Eric Gutierrez, aunts, Uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Steven was born on May 11, 1983, in Houston, TX. He grew up in Nashville, TN, and attended Whites Creek High School. He found love early on with Christy who he would create a family with. The pride he took in being a father to Steven, Nathan, and Lexi was the highlight of his life. He made a career in welding and production. In his free time, Steven loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He was definitely the one that was going to make everyone laugh. He loved to love. He never met a stranger. He loved fashion.. his Jordan shoes and anything Houston Texas. He loved his parents, kids, brothers, nieces, and nephews and anytime he could be surrounded by them he was happy. Steven was a child of God and his Faith in Christ was strong. He was a jokester and an all-around great person. He loved life and spent it living to the fullest around the ones he loved most. To know him was to love him. 

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM, at Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115. (615)868-9020
