Sue McDaniel

Sue McDaniel, 95, was born September 6, 1927, and passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family August 26, 2023

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents, Fred K. and Ida Williamson, also preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Robert Fentress McDaniel. She is survived by her sons; Danny R. McDaniel and Robert Dale McDaniel, her daughters; Linda F. Wair, Debra S. Robertson, and Christy M. Davis (Michael), her grandchildren; Rodney Glenn Wair (Karyn), Robert Michael Wair, Jason W. Robertson (Kelly), Angie S. Breeden (Jeff), Robert Brian McDaniel, Vincent Davis, and Chase Davis. Also, surviving her are 10 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Sue loved and cherished her beautiful family, who were always welcome to gather, on special occasions or not, to laugh, talk, have fun, and share great food and good times together. She also loved her church families, having been a long time member of Madison Church of Christ, and currently at Neelys Bend Church of Christ. She was a tremendously hard worker and loved working in her garden, harvesting the vegetables she had planted, sometimes canning what she had grown, and then cooking dinner all in the same day. She will always be greatly missed and deeply loved by all her family and friends. May the Lord bless and keep her....always in our Hearts.

The family asks that everyone come and Celebrate Mrs. McDaniel's Life with them from 12PM - 2PM, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115. A private family burial will be held immediately following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Neelys Bend Church of Christ, 1502 Neelys Bend Rd., Madison, TN 37115.
