George Ellison Terry

MSG (ret)George E. Terry Sr. George E. Terry, 86, died unexpectedly March 28, 2020 in Springfield, TN. He was born July 24, 1933 in Nashville, Arkansas, the son of William Andrew Terry and Susie Choate Terry. He was married to Gloria Terry. George served in the Army for 21 years, and was a veteran of Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a loyal member of the Masons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Tate Terry;second wife, Joyce Sutliff Terry; daughters, Debra Terry and Linda Terry;7 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving in addition to his wife; Son, George E. Terry Jr. (Debbie); daughters, Susan Terry, Sharon Hahn (Lenny) and Peggy Chism (Mark); 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Hockaday and brother, Joe Terry. Burial will be held at Veterans Cemetery McCrory Lane April 16, 2020 attended by his children. Services will be held at a later date.
