Evelyn Brockett Llana

January 1, 1925 — September 17, 2020

Age 94, passed peacefully on September 17, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Martha Brockett; brother, TJ Brockett; and 35 years earlier by her husband, Bart G. Llana. She is survivied by her daughters, Rosemarie (Jimmie) Guthrie, Kay (Jerry) Hannah, Teresa (Tommy) Williams, Wanda (Rusty) Green and Tina (Roger) Anderson; nine grandchildren, William "Buddy" (Kristina) Bennett, Terry "Bart" (Laree) Bennett, Jerry Wayne (Darbi) Hannah, Jennifer Hannah, Michael Stinemetz, Ursula Gebhardt, Jackie Holder, Llana Anderson and Dakota (Dalia) Anderson; three step-grandchildren, Kelly Greene, Derek (Meagan) Greene, Holly Greene; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren. Born and raised in Red Boiling Springs, TN, where she met Bart, while he was on military maneuvers during WWII. After marrying, they first moved to Old Hickory, TN and finally to Madison, TN. When not helping Bart with his accounting business or raising their five girls, she first worked at Harvey's Dept. Store, and finally became a licensed medical technician working at Nashville Memorial Hospital on the OB/GYN floor until her retirement. When not working, Evelyn enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, traveling with family and friends and hosting family gatherings throughout the year. She also enjoyed weekly mall walks with close friends. Annie Ruth Clark and Isabelle Jackson. A devout Christian, she was a member of First Baptist Church Madison. She had also been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Madison Chapter 479 and as a leader with the Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts for 40 years. Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held, with a public Life Celebration Service to be scheduled at a later date.
