Newell Thomas Pursell,Sr.,92, of Nashville, TN. Born March 17, 1928, in Montgomery County, passed away on October 14, 2020. Newell was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, Raymond R. and Anna A. Pursell; brothers, Glen Pursell, Aubrey Pursell and Horace Pursell; sisters, Margaret Miller and Helen Beasley; daughter, Donna Gale; granddaughter, Meagan Pursell. Newell is survived by sons, Tom (Brenda) Pursell and Ron (Cathy) Pursell; six beloved grandchildren, Dawn Pursell Tawater, Misty London, Marcie Pursell, Katie Pursell and Zack Pursell; eight beloved great-grandchildren, Keeley (Austin) Lee, Cyerra (Joel) Casey, Kailyn Smith, Brylee London, Sydnee London, Jayden Pursell, Braelin Pursell and Adrian Pursell; along with several nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service to be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 11 AM at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Dr. Russ Corley officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
