Wayne Gallup

GALLUP, Wayne G. of Erin, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 8, 2014; he was 85. Dean Gallup as he was known to many of us served the Trevecca Nazarene University family for eighteen years in a varity of roles. After his retirement from Trevecca he served another ten years at Trevecca Towers. He was a member of Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene while living in Nashville. Mr. Gallup is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle and a sister, Ramona Gallup Buhl. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma and seven children, Greg (Rachel) Gallup, Jeff (Juli) Gallup, Doug (Melissa) Gallup, Todd Gallup, Stephen (Gina) Gallup, Melissa Gallup Flatt and Deborah Gallup Tucker; twenty-three grandchildren, Erik (Aimee), Megan, Isaac, Zac, Jordan (Jacque), Brittney (Jon) Kirschner, Kaylee, Samantha, Taryn, Philip, Sydney, Amanda, Josh, Matt, Hannah, Holly, Stephanie, Joe (Wendy) Tucker and Hope Green; twelve great-grandchildren, Mark, Emma, Kylie, Easton, Jacob, Kadence, Charlotte, Nia Lyn, Jeremiah, Hayden, Kate and Mark Anthony Flatt. Also surviving are his brothers, Rev. Ed Gallup of Hartsville, TN and Bill (Kay) Gallup of Hillsdale, MI. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00AM in the sanctuary of Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jeff Stark officiating.
